News: Vergelegen Wine Estate unveils plans for a large Arboretum

The Vergelegen estate is world-renowned for its magnificent trees, and they’re building on this history with plans to create a 54-hectare botanical garden devoted to trees.
The arboretum will be created in a phased approach over 10 years, during which about 7500 trees will be planted to create a beautiful, peaceful green sanctuary. This tranquil setting has beautiful views of the Hottentots Holland and Helderberg Mountains and the arboretum will link the cultivated and natural landscapes. The full press release.
